How proud can one mother be?
The eight year old is using Dad’s computer and (succesfully) typing with her toes.
How many parents can make that claim?

Today was the big day – the promotion ceremony leaving the only school DS#3 has ever known – Off to middle school in the fall. All of the fifth graders were on the stands, singing their little hearts out. We saw DS#3 wipe away some tears. (sigh, he is such a sweet, sensitive BabyBoy) -
Sorry to burst your bubble – Sunscreen had run into his eye causing the tears -aw well, he’s still my sweet, sensitive BabyBoy
BabyBoy (hmmm, maybe we see why she calls him her baby brother?) will graduate from grade school tomorrow -He came out tonight just before 10:30 announcing he needs a white shirt and dark pants for the ceremony (because, of course, I hadn’t asked him several times this week what he was supposed to wear).
I wasn’t too shocked to discover he owns neither a white shirt nor dark slacks (I don’t care what DD#2 says he cannot wear pants from two years ago with dark socks).
DD#2 headed out to our local, open 24 hours a day, Super Kmart – at last phone call she was heading home with something in a size 8 BUT the 17 year old DD shopping with her tried it on and they think it will work for the hour long event.
***UPDATE – they’re home with a nice white polo shirt – BabyBoy just informed us he needs 20 filled water balloons by morning….
Yes, it started as an innocent mistake -
Now she continues because it so bothers him
She doesn’t care that he is 2 1/2 years older than she
As far as she’s concerned because he’s the youngest boy he’ll always be her baby brother
We’re a happy family
Yes, I’m reliving Barney, the purple dinasaur from DD’s imagination
Today was to be massive garage clean out day – adult offspring far and near cleared their calendars weeks in advance to be here
The project started off well – well, as well as 12 people’s 12 years’ of crap crammed into one small garage can go
It was interesting trip down memory lane – “wow, I’d forgotten all about that” was heard often
Much too often offspring were spotted carrying things into the house rather than the dumpster
A (very) few toys got to go home with the grandbrats – none of the big stuff
Yes, it’s nice to see #10 wearing dresses I purchased 14 years ago for DD#1, it was awesome to see DS#1 and DS#2 get excited about passing their favorite books (on loan) to DS#3
It was kind of cute when DD(17) brought in her old Barney dolls, books and bedding (for her own bed)
When she came in with the videos and VCR I thought they were leaving with Granddaughter – NOT – there was a Barney marathon in the bedroom tonight – DD tried wearing her favorite Barney PJs for the big event – Sadly, she’s grown a little since she was four
